Brand new out of the package, there was a seam open on the right glove. As soon as I put the glove on and made a fist, zippp, the seam opened up. The left glove had several snags/pulls in the fabric above the thumb area. I was hoping these gloves were actually "military grade", however, they appear far from it. Also note, I followed their recommendation of "sizing up" one size for "improved insulation and cold weather protection". I ordered XXL, normally wearing XL's. The XXL's fit perfectly with no apparent extra room, so if you order these gloves, keep this in mind. Just for comparison, I also own a pair of cold weather Carhartt work gloves and they're significantly better quality in construction.

i read the review n brought this item,,,, but m very dissapointed with the fitting left gloves is absolutely fine but right side gloves has probs spl index finger its nt as regular fitting n it says its for winter n snow but my hand gets frezzed even in regular winter if i walk for 15 mint,, wont recommend,,,

At first appearance, this would seem like a good croquet set. The brand, the price, and the look would make you think, "Hey, I've got a quality product here." But, turn it over and take a good look at the "Made in China" sticker -- that should tell you all you need to know about the quality.

The mallets and stakes are made of a flimsy wood that feels as if it will snap with the slightest hit. The threads that have been turned into the end of the handle sound as if they are crumbling apart as you screw them into the mallet. The plastic caps may protect the mallet heads from injury but they also cause you to have to hit the ball harder to get it rolling -- increasing the chances of snapping the mallet handle.

The balls are plastic, which I believe the ad description mentions, and appear durable; however, the fact that they are plastic and not wood takes away from the classic nature of the game.

The carry case is handsome -- blimey, I feel like a Brit saying that -- and probably durable.

All in all, just another wonderful example of a modern product with a modern price tag built to POS Chinese standards.


!UPDATE! -- Just wanted to let everyone know that, yep, the first time I took the set out, I snapped a mallet handle in not two pieces, but three. I took a medium swipe at the ball -- and like I said, because of the plastic caps on the mallet heads, you have to hit harder than you'd think -- and, SNAP! I stood aghast but ultimately unsurprised. It looks like it's too late for me to return the blasted thing, but if it saves someone else from the same fate, I feel as if I could die having done something with my life.

This set comes with exactly what you need for a 6-player game, and nothing else. I love that it packs up neatly and can be transported or put away easily. The balls are a good size and weight, and we've had a lot of fun playing with this set.

Had to glue all handles to the mallet and had to glue a split in one mallet after only two games. So far, with repairs the set is playing OK.

Product probably OK, but we won't know because we ordered 10 packges of #312 batteries but were sent packages of #10 which we can't use. Company disputes this. All correspondence shows them to be very mean spirited and unconcerned with customer satisfaction. We cut our Amazon cards in half and canceled our account. Once burned fear the fire as the old adage goes.
Big laugh: the company bragged it had the power to erase negative comments sent back to Amazon. Some company!

These hearing aid batteries are a great deal. They arrived promptly with 'best before' dates as described. It's nice to not have to worry about running out of them all the time. I will definately order my next batch from here.

I ordered a year's supply of hearing aid batteries. Unfortunately the expiration date on each package is March 12, 2012. This means I will have used only half of them by the expiration date.

The first set of batteries only lasted 3 days as opposed to the usual 7. Some of the subsequent batteries have lasted close to 7. Generally speaking, the batteries are not lasting as long as batteries with expiration dates in 2013 and further.

I believe the reason the price was low was because the batteries are too close to the expiration date. Seller should have included this information in the product descriptions.

The battery for the remote control was missing. This is an A23 12V battery. Not something I would just have laying around the house. The panties said stretch to fit. Sorry, it did not stretch enough. No returns and no way to leave a comment about the missing battery other than this review.
